Andrew Halstead has 35 years continuous experience as a registered architect and has delivered hundreds of projects of all types and scales in this time.

We are a small practice but through innovative working methodology are able to deliver large scale complex projects.

We also have associations with other architects & draftspeople which we can draw upon when required.

Originally started in 2002, I was a partner in the firm DHS Architects and then Plugin Architecture Studio before deciding to become a sole practitioner in early 2012.

Prior to this I had been with the Gold Coast firm BDA Architecture for 13 and a half years becoming Director of architecture there.

Before that I had been with the Melbourne firm Darryl Jackson Architects where I was the project architect on one of the major buildings at Bond University back in the late 80's.

In my time in South East Queensland I have had the good fortune to be involved in a wide range of projects in all sectors both in SE QLD and elsewhere in Australia:

I have also worked in London & the Middle East prior to coming to Australia (Melbourne) in 1987 & moving to the Gold Coast in 1988. I was born in the UK in 1957 and raised in York in the north of England.
